- Hobbies:
- Gardening! Starting in 2005, I've had a plot of my own in the Dowling Community Garden. In 2005, I had great success with Zuchini and Collard Greens. Last year, I started some asparagus and grew chard and spaghetti squash. This year I finally feel like I have some mastery over the process; I've added a strawberry patch (with beautiful pink flowers) and have some zuchini, collards, chard, tomatoes, cauliflower, and eggplant going strong.
- Home renovation - the hobby that never dies! In spring 2005, we decided to spend the summer thoroughly renovating our kitchen, removing a wall, and to do some heavy work in the basement as well, including a new egress window. It's still not done (Jan 2008), but oh so close... Soon have countertops.
- Weather! Check out my backyard on March 13, 2006, and then look at the plum blossoms in early April.
